SikaLastomer®-511 is a non-skinning and noncorrosive butyl rubber-based sealant. It remains malleable so that the sealant can be factory dispensed and then joined in the field, depending upon the temperatures at which the panels are stored. Metal panels can be easily separated after extended periods for repair and maintenance.

Areas of Application

SikaLastomer®-511 is designed for factory sealing the female lip of standing seam roof and wall panels as well as concealed end laps. SikaLastomer®-511 will adhere to the mating surface and flow into the panel joint when assembly is constructed within a temperature range of -25 °C to 60 °C (-13 °F to 140 °F).

This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests under actual processing conditions and with additional materials such as fibers and release agents must be performed to proof material compatibility.
