SikaLastomer®-714 is a one-component, butyl-based sealant engineered for flexible sealing applications where components may need to be removed or serviced later. Its thixotropic, non-hardening formulation creates durable elastic seals while remaining workable and easy to remove when maintenance or disassembly is required.

Designed for transportation, RV, automotive, and industrial assembly applications, SikaLastomer®-714 provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates with little or no surface preparation. The sealant adheres well to metals, coated surfaces, plastics, and other common industrial materials, making it a reliable choice for sealing joints, flanges, gaskets, and bolt-on components.

Its permanently elastic butyl formulation offers strong resistance to weathering, water, wastewater, and diluted acids while maintaining flexibility over time. Unlike rigid sealants, SikaLastomer®-714 remains tacky and serviceable after application, allowing components to be separated later without excessive cleanup or substrate damage.

The product is easy to apply and tool using standard dispensing equipment, supporting clean and efficient installation in manufacturing and maintenance environments.
