Description
Product Data Sheet
Sikaflex® P2G is a one-component, cold-applied polyurethane adhesive engineered specifically for automotive glass replacement and direct glazing applications. Designed for professional auto glass installers, this high-viscosity adhesive delivers reliable structural bonding performance for windshield and fixed glass replacement in both mobile and in-shop environments.
Its primerless-to-glass formulation helps simplify installation by eliminating the need for additional priming on glass and ceramic frit surfaces in approved applications. The fast-curing polyurethane chemistry provides dependable adhesion and supports efficient installation workflows while meeting automotive direct glazing performance requirements.
Sikaflex® P2G features excellent non-sag application characteristics and a short cut-off string for cleaner dispensing and easier bead control during windshield installation. Its high-strength elastomeric bond helps absorb vibration, thermal expansion, and vehicle movement while maintaining durable long-term adhesion under demanding driving conditions.
The adhesive offers strong resistance to water, seawater, diluted acids, and many common automotive environmental conditions. Once cured, it forms a durable elastic bond capable of performing across a broad service temperature range, helping ensure long-lasting windshield retention and structural support.
Sikaflex® P2G is commonly used in automotive glass replacement operations requiring efficient processing, dependable installation performance, and cost-effective windshield bonding solutions.
