SikaFast®-3131 S is a high-performance, two-component acrylic structural adhesive engineered for fast bonding and high-throughput manufacturing applications. Designed with incorporated spacer shims to maintain consistent bond line thickness, this flexibilized adhesive delivers reliable structural strength while helping ensure uniform adhesive performance across assembled parts.

Its fast-curing formulation develops strength within minutes, making it ideal for production environments that require rapid fixturing and efficient assembly processes. SikaFast®-3131 S is specifically designed to transfer high loads and evenly distribute stress across bonded components, helping reduce fatigue and improve long-term durability compared to traditional fastening methods.

The adhesive bonds effectively to a wide range of substrates including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, and fiber reinforced polymers with little or no surface preparation required in many applications. Its high elongation and ductility provide excellent vibration damping and impact resistance, making it well suited for transportation, industrial, and fabricated assembly applications exposed to dynamic loads and movement.

SikaFast®-3131 S is commonly used to replace or supplement mechanical fastening techniques such as welding, riveting, screws, and clinching in concealed joint applications. Its non-sag, thixotropic consistency allows for clean application on vertical and horizontal surfaces while maintaining precise adhesive placement.
