Product Data Sheet

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP100 Plus is a high-performance, two-part epoxy adhesive engineered for fast curing, excellent flexibility, and durable structural bonding in demanding industrial applications. This clear, low-viscosity adhesive provides strong shear and peel strength while maintaining flexibility after cure, making it ideal for applications exposed to vibration, impact, and thermal expansion.

Designed with a convenient 1:1 mix ratio, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP100 Plus offers a 2–5 minute work life and reaches handling strength in approximately 15–20 minutes at room temperature, helping improve production speed and assembly efficiency. Its self-leveling formulation allows for easy dispensing, smooth flow characteristics, and excellent wetting on a wide range of substrates.

This versatile epoxy adhesive bonds metals, ceramics, glass, wood, and many plastics while remaining slightly flexible after curing. Its combination of flexibility and high bond strength makes it particularly effective for bonding dissimilar materials that experience movement, thermal cycling, or vibration during service. The cured adhesive remains clear, making it suitable for cosmetic and appearance-sensitive applications.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP100 Plus performs well in transportation, electronics, construction, specialty vehicle, sporting goods, and general industrial manufacturing environments. Its high impact resistance and durable bond performance help provide long-term reliability in both indoor and outdoor applications.

Common applications include:

  • Bonding glass, metal, and plastic components
  • Potting and encapsulating electronic assemblies
  • Cosmetic and transparent bonding applications
  • Industrial assembly and fabrication
  • Bonding dissimilar materials exposed to vibration
  • Consumer goods and sporting equipment assembly
  • General-purpose structural bonding and sealing
