Sikasil® GP is a one-component, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant engineered for general-purpose sealing, glazing, and bonding applications across construction, transportation, marine, and industrial environments. Its non-sag, elastomeric formulation delivers durable flexibility, strong adhesion, and reliable long-term performance in both interior and exterior applications.

Designed for ease of use and fast curing, Sikasil® GP bonds well to a wide variety of non-porous substrates including glass, aluminum, fiberglass, ceramic tile, plastics, painted metals, wood, and steel. Its flexible silicone formulation helps absorb movement, vibration, and thermal expansion while maintaining durable weather-resistant seals.

Sikasil® GP is commonly used for sealing and glazing windows, doors, skylights, storefronts, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, roofing components, trucks, trailers, RVs, marine cabins, appliance assemblies, kitchens, and bathrooms. The sealant provides excellent resistance to UV exposure, ozone, moisture, and temperature extremes, helping maintain long-term elasticity without cracking, shrinking, or becoming brittle.

Its fast-curing RTV silicone chemistry allows assembled or sealed parts to be moved quickly after application, supporting efficient installation and manufacturing workflows. The product also features superior gunnability and tooling characteristics for clean, professional application using standard dispensing equipment.

Sikasil® GP contains anti-microbial additives for mold resistance and meets ASTM C-920 performance requirements for professional-grade sealants. Select formulations are also recognized for food contact applications and high-temperature performance, making the product suitable for a broad range of industrial and commercial sealing applications.
