Sika® Firesil-N is a one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant engineered for fire-resistant sealing applications in demanding construction, transportation, marine, and industrial environments. Its advanced flame-retardant formulation provides durable elastic sealing performance while maintaining excellent resistance to heat, weathering, aging, and environmental exposure.

Designed for applications requiring enhanced fire protection, Sika® Firesil-N meets major flammability and smoke emission standards including 49CFR238, NFPA 130, DIN 4102 B1, and International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements. The cured seal remains flexible and resilient even when exposed to nearby heat sources, making it ideal for critical sealing applications in transportation systems, industrial facilities, and fire-rated construction assemblies.

Sika® Firesil-N bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, and many construction materials without requiring primer in many applications. Its neutral-cure, non-corrosive silicone chemistry supports safe use on sensitive substrates while delivering long-lasting adhesion and flexibility.

The sealant is commonly used for sealing cable ducts, grommets, expansion joints, penetrations, and gaps where flame retardancy and smoke control are required. Its excellent UV and weather resistance make it suitable for both interior and exterior use in exposed environments.

Sika® Firesil-N features a low-odor, solvent-free formulation with a non-sag consistency for clean application on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Once cured, the sealant forms a durable elastic seal capable of accommodating movement while maintaining reliable long-term fire resistance and environmental durability.
