Sikasil® GP-101 is a one-component, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant engineered for reliable general-purpose sealing and bonding applications across industrial, transportation, HVAC, appliance, and construction environments. Its non-sag, elastomeric RTV silicone formulation delivers durable flexibility, strong adhesion, and long-lasting weather resistance for both interior and exterior applications.
Designed for professional sealing applications, Sikasil® GP-101 bonds effectively to a wide range of non-porous substrates including glass, aluminum, painted metals, fiberglass, plastics, ceramic materials, wood, and steel. Its flexible silicone chemistry helps absorb movement, vibration, and thermal expansion while maintaining dependable sealing performance over time.
Sikasil® GP-101 is commonly used for sealing windows, HVAC systems, trucks, trailers, RVs, appliance assemblies, and food equipment applications. Select colors are listed under NSF/ANSI 51 for food equipment materials, making the sealant suitable for a variety of commercial and industrial assembly environments.
Its moisture-curing silicone formulation offers superior UV resistance, heat resistance, and weather durability, helping maintain elasticity and adhesion in harsh environmental conditions. The sealant also features excellent gunning and tooling characteristics for smooth, clean application using standard dispensing equipment.
Sikasil® GP-101 is solvent-free and fast curing, allowing sealed or assembled parts to be handled quickly after application. Once cured, the material forms a durable elastic seal capable of accommodating joint movement up to ±25% per ISO 11600 standards.
