BISCO® HT-870 is a medium-soft, highly durable silicone foam engineered for applications requiring a balance of conformability and improved sealing performance. As a firmer and denser alternative to softer grades like BF-2000, it maintains low closure force while delivering enhanced sealing capability—making it ideal for more demanding environments.

Its advanced silicone chemistry and cell structure provide long-term reliability, allowing the material to maintain performance under repeated compression and environmental exposure. HT-870 conforms easily to uneven surfaces, helping create effective seals against dust, moisture, air, and light while also offering cushioning and vibration isolation.

Designed for harsh conditions, this material performs across a wide temperature range (approximately -55°C to 200°C) and resists UV exposure, ozone, and extreme environments. It also meets stringent flame-retardant standards, including UL 94 V-0, supporting applications where fire safety is critical.

With consistent compression force, low compression set, and excellent resilience, HT-870 reduces maintenance and improves long-term sealing performance. It is widely used in industries such as electronics, transportation, industrial equipment, and outdoor enclosures where reliable sealing and cushioning are essential.
