BISCO® HT-800 is a versatile, medium-firm silicone foam designed to bridge the gap between soft, highly compressible materials and more rigid, durable sealing solutions. It combines the lightweight nature of foam with the enhanced sealing performance of traditional sponge rubber, making it ideal for demanding gasketing, cushioning, and environmental sealing applications.

Engineered with patented silicone chemistry and a refined cell structure, HT-800 delivers long-term performance with excellent memory and low stress relaxation. This helps maintain consistent sealing force over time and reduces maintenance associated with gasket failure or compression set.

Its medium firmness allows it to conform to uneven surfaces while still providing stronger sealing capability than softer foam grades. This makes it especially effective in protecting against dust, moisture, air, light, and wind-driven rain in outdoor and industrial environments.

HT-800 is built for harsh conditions, offering resistance to UV exposure, ozone, extreme temperatures (from approximately -55°C to 200°C), and flame. It meets stringent UL flame-retardant standards and is FDA compliant, making it suitable for applications requiring both safety and environmental durability.

Commonly used in electronics enclosures, lighting systems, HVAC units, and transportation equipment, HT-800 also provides vibration isolation and shock absorption in addition to sealing. Its balance of strength, flexibility, and environmental resistance makes it a reliable choice for applications where performance and longevity are critical.
