BISCO® HT-820 is a firm, high-performance silicone foam engineered for applications that require increased sealing strength and durability. Compared to softer silicone foams, HT-820 provides higher tear and tensile strength, making it ideal for gasketing applications where a more robust, high-closure-force material is needed.

Its compact cell structure enhances sealing performance, allowing it to effectively block out dust, moisture, air, and light in demanding environments. This makes it particularly well-suited for protecting outdoor enclosures such as lighting systems, HVAC units, and electronic cabinets from harsh environmental exposure, including wind-driven rain and debris.

Engineered with advanced silicone chemistry, HT-820 maintains excellent memory and low stress relaxation, helping it retain its shape and sealing force over time. This reduces maintenance and extends product life, even in applications involving repeated compression or long-term use.

The material performs reliably across a wide temperature range (approximately -55°C to 200°C) and offers strong resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and extreme environmental conditions. It also meets stringent flame-retardant standards such as UL 94 V-0 and HF-1, making it suitable for applications where fire safety is critical.
