BISCO® RS-800 Medium from Rogers Corporation is a versatile, medium-density closed-cell silicone foam developed to deliver reliable performance in sealing, gasketing, and cushioning applications. Positioned in the center of the BISCO Cellular Silicone series, RS-800 provides the perfect balance between conformability and structural integrity, combining the lightness of a foam with the sealing power of a traditional sponge rubber.
With a density of 20 lb/ft³ (317 kg/m³) and compression force deflection between 6–14 psi, RS-800 is suitable for demanding applications that require both flexibility and strength. Its patented cell structure and silicone chemistry ensure exceptional resistance to UV, ozone, temperature extremes, and mechanical fatigue.
RS-800 performs reliably across a wide temperature range (-55°C to +200°C / -67°F to +392°F) and maintains a low compression set (3.2%), enabling long-term performance in environments prone to vibration, pressure cycling, and moisture exposure.
