Sikaflex®-219 LM is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane sealant engineered for flexible, high-movement sealing applications in construction, metal fabrication, and industrial assembly environments. Its low-modulus elastomeric formulation delivers excellent elasticity and recovery, making it ideal for joints exposed to expansion, contraction, vibration, and structural movement.
Designed for both interior and exterior applications, Sikaflex®-219 LM bonds well to a wide variety of common substrates including aluminum, steel, painted metals, wood, masonry, fiberglass, glass, and many plastics when properly prepared. Its excellent adhesion and gap-filling capabilities help create durable, weather-resistant seals across a broad range of demanding applications.
The sealant features a non-sag consistency for clean application on vertical and horizontal surfaces while maintaining long-term flexibility after curing. Sikaflex®-219 LM is commonly used for perimeter sealing of windows and doors, sealing roof joints and curb details, EIFS systems, curtain wall joints, log home construction, skylights, HVAC penetrations, and exposed or concealed metal panel joints.
Its durable polyurethane chemistry provides excellent resistance to aging, weathering, road salt, water, and many environmental conditions while remaining paintable after curing for a clean finished appearance. The product also offers high joint movement capability, making it especially effective in applications where flexibility and long-term seal integrity are critical.
Sikaflex®-219 LM is easy to apply using manual, pneumatic, or electric dispensing equipment and supports reliable performance in demanding commercial, industrial, and architectural sealing applications.
