DOWSIL™ 1199 Silicone Glazing Sealant is a high-performance, one-part neutral-cure RTV silicone specifically engineered for automated glazing systems. Designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern window and door manufacturing, it provides fast curing and excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates including glass, aluminum, vinyl, wood, and fiberglass.

This sealant is ideal for backbedding applications on sash, as well as cap, toe, and heel bead sealing. Its fast cure profile supports high-throughput production environments, helping manufacturers improve efficiency without sacrificing performance.

DOWSIL™ 1199 delivers outstanding long-term durability, maintaining flexibility and adhesion under exposure to rain, UV radiation, and temperature extremes. With a movement capability of ±25% and high elongation, it accommodates joint movement while preserving a reliable seal over time.

Engineered for consistent results, the sealant provides strong, primerless adhesion to common fenestration materials and supports clean, controlled application using standard dispensing equipment. It is AAMA certified and meets ASTM C920 specifications, making it a trusted choice for demanding glazing applications.

Available in multiple standard and custom colors, DOWSIL™ 1199 offers both performance and design flexibility. Whether used in automated production or manual glazing processes, it delivers a proven solution for durable, high-quality window and door assembly.
