Cactus® Double Coated Film Tape Y291M offers a moderate initial tack and peel adhesion, made up of 2 types of adhesive systems: a permanent solvent acrylic adhesive on the open side and a removable solvent acrylic adhesive on the closed side to perform clean removal with no adhesive residue.
Applications
- Permanent adhesive : Specifically formulated to bond with low engergy surface materials, like PE & PP, providing moderate adhesion to most substrates
- Removable adhesive : Designed to provide a light bond with a variety of surfaces and clean removal without adhesive residue. This adhesive system offers re-usability when bonded to clean surfaces
- Major applications
- Temporary bonding of posters, signs, banners, or other items that require light-duty bonding and clean removal
- Laminated on rebound rubber or other foam/cork materials as shipping pads, to protect glasses during transportation. The removable adhesive leaves no ghosting on glasses
