3M™ VHB™ Tape Max-060GF is a 0.025 in (0.6 mm) gray double-sided acrylic foam tape developed to deliver next-level bonding performance on a wide range of high surface energy (HSE) and medium surface energy (MSE) substrates, including metals, glass, painted surfaces, and plastics. As part of the 3M™ VHB™ Max Series, this product provides 2–3x the shear and tensile strength of traditional 3M™ VHB™ tapes, making it an ideal choice for applications that demand maximum holding power and long-term durability.
The firm acrylic foam core combined with pressure-sensitive adhesive enables fast handling strength and minimizes reliance on mechanical fasteners like rivets, screws, and welds. The tape forms a nearly invisible bond line, allowing for modern design flexibility using thinner, lighter, or dissimilar materials. It also provides excellent resistance to water, dust, and vibration, while tolerating thermal expansion and contraction between bonded surfaces.
