3M™ IS1 Industrial Sealing Tape is a non-permeable membrane tape with an aggressive adhesive that sticks to a variety of substrates. This product uses a specially formulated acrylic adhesive that sticks and stays stuck at a wider range of temperatures than many traditional tapes. The proprietary film backing seals around rivets, screws, staples, and nails to prevent moisture intrusion. This film is also tough, resisting punctures and tears, yet is flexible enough to be tightly tucked into corners.
Product Features
- Can be applied to substrates from 0° to 150°F (-18° to 66°C)
- Compatible with most sealants: Rubberized Asphalt, Polyurethane, Silicone and Hybrid sealants
- Great adhesion to anodized aluminum, rigid vinyl, and plywood without the need for a primer
- Seals around screws, nails, staples, and rivets to prevent moisture intrusion.
- UV Resistance up to 12 months
