Description
Designed for extreme temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). With outstanding dielectric strength, low friction, and chemical resistance, it is ideal for aerospace, electrical insulation, and industrial applications. CHR® 2255 Skived High-Modulus PTFE Tape is engineered for high-temperature and high-durability applications. Made from modified PTFE film with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive, this tape excels in dielectric strength, tensile resilience, and chemical inertness. It withstands continuous temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) and meets MIL-I-23594C (now MIL Spec A-A-59474 Type 1) standards. With low elongation, it is ideal for automated wrapping, phase insulation, wire harness protection in aerospace, and industrial anti-stick applications. Available in multiple thicknesses and widths, CHR® 2255 ensures superior performance in demanding environments.
