The SPV H series are Surface Protection Tapes suitable to protect lacquered plates, plastics and laminates during mechanical processes, storage and transportation. These products consist of a clear transparent PE film coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive and are available in two thickness levels.

Application

SPV H-series are ideal products to protect low-gloss lacquered plates (such as acrylic, PUR, polyester, PVDF, epoxy powder coatings), matt aluminum plates, matt plastics (such as PMMA, ABS, PC, hard PVC) and laminates against scratches and impurities until the end of the supply chain. Depending on the protection required, these tapes are available in a thickness of 50 µm (SPV 4058H) or 80 µm (SPV 4088H). The pressure sensitive acrylic-based adhesive gives a high adhesion level and makes these products ideal for the protection of surfaces with a gloss level between 20 to 40%.
