DOWSIL™ 756 SMS Building Sealant is a high-performance, one-component neutral-cure silicone sealant engineered for weatherproofing sensitive porous stone and metal panel substrates in commercial construction applications. Its proprietary silicone formulation creates a sleek, matte finish that helps reduce residue rundown, dirt pickup, and substrate staining while delivering long-term weather resistance and durability.

Designed for both new construction and remedial projects, DOWSIL™ 756 SMS Building Sealant adheres unprimed to many porous and non-porous building materials including granite, limestone, brick, precast concrete, glass, anodized aluminum, EIFS finishes, fluoropolymer-coated panels, and painted substrates. Its medium-modulus elastomeric formulation allows the sealant to accommodate ±50% joint movement while maintaining strong adhesion and flexibility in dynamic building joints.

Once cured, the sealant forms a durable, watertight silicone rubber that resists UV exposure, weathering, ozone, moisture, and temperature extremes. The low-stringing formulation provides excellent all-weather gunnability and tooling characteristics, helping improve installation quality and productivity on the jobsite.

DOWSIL™ 756 SMS Building Sealant is especially effective for architectural applications where aesthetics and stain resistance are critical. Its non-staining formulation helps preserve the appearance of natural stone and decorative façade materials while delivering long-term weatherproofing performance backed by industry-recognized standards including ASTM C920 and ASTM C719.
