Description
3M™ VHB™ Tape Max-110GF is a high-performance acrylic foam tape engineered for demanding bonding applications requiring extreme strength, long-term durability, and a clean finish. At 0.045 in (1.1 mm) thick, this gray double-sided tape features a firm acrylic foam core and pressure-sensitive adhesive that work in conjunction with 3M™ VHB™ Max Promoter to deliver 2–3 times the tensile and shear strength of standard VHB™ tapes.
Designed for bonding a wide range of high surface energy (HSE) and medium surface energy (MSE) materials, including metal, glass, painted plastic, and composite surfaces, 3M™ VHB™ Max-110GF enables design flexibility with narrower bond lines, thinner materials, and dissimilar substrates. It also creates strong, virtually invisible bonds that eliminate the need for mechanical fasteners such as screws, rivets, and welds.
The tape forms a tight, waterproof, and dust-resistant seal that is also resistant to UV light, vibration, and thermal cycling. Its ability to tolerate temperature extremes from -67°F to 356°F (short-term) and maintain static shear load at 250°F long-term makes it ideal for exterior applications in transportation, signage, electronics, and building construction.
